GDPR Policy

To ensure your family’s data is handled legally, safely, and transparently, all parents must read and sign our GDPR Policy upon registration. This policy explains how we store, use, and protect personal information in line with data protection legislation. A copy of the policy is available to download or can be provided in paper form upon request.

Key Person System

Every child is assigned a Key Person who builds a strong relationship with your family, supports your child’s learning, and ensures continuity of care. Your child will be allocated their Key Person upon starting nursery.

When your child starts with us, we advise parents to send their child with:

Costs

Consumable Charges and Meal Costs are applicable to children attending Rainbow Day Care with government funded hours. The government have outlined the aspects of childcare which the funding rates do not cover, but in order to offer these in our curriculum to enhance our nursery offering, we must charge to cover these costs. These items include; food, drinks, cooking/baking ingredients, sun cream, nappy sacks, PPE, learning journals, play foam, play-doh, gardening equipment, printing, laminating, photos, library, sand, sensory play, outings, celebrations, events, fundraising activities. These fees will be listed on the invoices for children attending government funded sessions, and included in the fee of children attending through private sessions. Please see the FEES section on our website for our current fee structure. Full fees are payable for child sickness, child absence, child holidays and any unplanned closure days out of our control.

Absence & Illness

We ask that parents notify us through Famly or by phone if their child is unwell or unable to attend. Please follow our illness exclusion guidelines to help us maintain a healthy environment for all children.
